Work we do not take on at JPW

  • We do not act as legal representatives or provide formal legal advice in any dispute.
  • We do not take on cases where there is a current or recent criminal investigation or prosecution.
  • We do not mediate disputes involving allegations of serious violence or safeguarding concerns.
  • We do not offer long-term counselling or therapy; our work is short-term and resolution-focused.
Step 3

Mediation session

You meet with the other party and a mediator, who helps you talk through the issues and explore what a resolution could look like.

Step 4

Agreement and follow-up

If you reach an agreement, we put it in writing; a few weeks later we check how things are holding up.
